My Mantra...

these last few days...I've had a Mantra going through my head...over and over...as I walk through campus...

"dont look, she's too young for you"
"dont look, she's too young for you"
*look*
"ahh! stop looking...she's too young for you"

It's been both necessary...and pretty damn hilarious...
just thought I'd share.

Ok what's 8 years... when you're 80, she'll be a young 72 :-) If you like malls and saying "like" a lot, it shouldn't pain you too much. hehe

hehe 'jordan' has nailed it right on the head. I dated someone 8 years my junior. He was 23 and me at 31, it was fun...for a while! You can only drink yourself into a stupor so many times before the novelty wears off.

At least she isn't half your age! I worked with a guy when I was in college who was in a graduate program and he was in his 30s. His philosophy was as long as they were legal and no more than half his age younger, he would date them. So, at 36 he was dating 18 year olds. He didn't seem to mind!

This is cute! My parents are 7 years apart and they always joke about Dad robbing the cradle: when Dad was in the Navy, Mom was in Junior High school. Eeww.

8 years is nothing, my friend who had a boyfriend 8 years older just got married to him, she is 20 and he is 28. It's fine and it's not illegal :)

mcblogger, you're my kind of girl! i once dated a guy who is 9 years younger. i was reminded of how firm a guy's body can be when in their early 20s. was nice... while it lasted.
but anyway, dj, look look look and enjoy the view. life is more interesting that way.

mcblogger- i dont know, i can drink myself into a stupur quite alot

rom fool- ok, thats just creepy

random- I could live with 7yrs I suppose

BVigilante- yeah, but it would only last as long as my buzz

riss- how old is she?? tell her to call me :-)

merili- I just dont want it to come up...to much "drama"

frozen- I'm too much of a flirt...if I look, I'll touch...and yeah, all thier bodies may be impossibly-tone...but it won't last...I'd rather a 25-28yr old with a "nice" figure..cuz it'll be around for a while.

Uh...I go through the same emotion when I watch that reality high school football show on MTV called Two A Days.
"They're in high school" They're in high school" "They were 7 when you were in high school"

but seriously, no boy in my high school had finely sculpted abs and chests? What is that? Hormones in the milk?

Either way, I feel like a Mrs. Robinson when I watch that show.
